Brief Information
Directorate General Border Security Force (BSF) has given a Notification for the recruitment of Head Constable (Ministerial) & ASI (Stenographer) on Direct Recruitment basis. Those Candidates who are interested in the vacancy details & completed all eligibility criteria can read the Notification & Apply Online.

Selection Process
     
  1. The exam will be conducted on the OMR sheet.
  2. Every candidate will be given 100 minutes (1:40 hours) to perform.
  3. Written exam will be of 100 marks in total.
  4. Cut off marks will be 35% for General and 33% for SC/ST candidate.
  5. The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and every candidate will be
  6. given option to perform their examination test either in Hindi or English.

  1. For all candidates except ST Candidates: Male: 165 Cms, Female: 155 Cms
  2. Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the State of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Kashmir, Leh & Ladakh regions: Male: 162.5 Cms, Female: 150 Cms
  3. For Candidates belonging to the ST Categories: Male: 162.5 Cms, Female: 150 Cms
    Chest (for Male Only):
  1. For General/ OBC/ SC/ EWS Categories: 77 Cms (Un-expanded), 82 Cms (Expanded)
  2. For ST Category: 76 Cms (Un-expanded), 81 Cms (Expanded)
